A Fair Now In My Hometown
Longquan, a district in Chengdu city, has long been famous for her high product of fruits. It’s also the place where I spent my high shool years. Lately, when I met friends on line they are telling me that the annual Peach Blossom Festival is held. Regretfully I am now thousand miles away from that spot. The same reason has caused my absence from it for years.
Longquan is titled “The Hometown of Honey Peach” and is ranked among the top ten places to appreciate peach flowers. The current festival is held every second month in Chinese lunar year. During the festival period the whole Longquan Mountain is covered by pink flowers and haunted with sweat odour.
I never missed any year in my childhoon with my mother to enjoy the delicious snacks selling in some casual trade fairs. It was the most exciting thing I would alway expect. Though time has passed, the sweat memory still exist with the festival and fairs come with it.
