About the Peak of Railway Transportation
I still remember it well that on the day I took train back home at Xi’an Railway Station, a fellow traveller told us to take good care of ourselves when get on the train. The reason he gave was shocking: several day before, a university student was pushed down onto the railroad and got killed by the entering train. Her remains were crushed into two parts. This bloody news made all of our other 6 mates terrified.
The problem with railway transportation is extremely intense when it comes to the winter vacation every year. This annual railway “festival” is usually “celebrated” by thousands of passengers gathering together at the waiting hall, followed by uninterrupted flow of people.
Isn’t it time for the government to do something about this? I think it would be much more worthwhile than their interferance with how to make steamed bun!
